Investment in Therapy
Fees
45-minute session: $225
60-minute session: $300
Each session is delivered virtually, making it convenient and accessible no matter where you are in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, or Missouri.
Insurance Information
I am considered an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. Many of my clients choose to work with me privately and submit receipts (called superbills) to their insurance company for possible reimbursement.
How it works: After our session, I’ll provide a superbill you can send to your insurance provider. Depending on your plan, you may receive partial reimbursement for therapy services.
Checking your benefits: Contact your insurance company and ask:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health?
What percentage of the fee will be reimbursed?
Do I need to meet a deductible before reimbursement begins?
Payment: All fees are due at the time of service via the secure client portal.
Not in a Licensed State? No problem!
We're so glad you're here, no matter where you live. While I can only offer therapy services to residents of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri, ONLINe coaching for women is available across the United States and internationally.
No Surprises Law
NOTICE TO CLIENTS AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have or use insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services:
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your GFE.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
What to Expect in Therapy
You might be wondering what therapy with me is really like. Here is a little peek behind the curtain.
What is therapy like?
I keep things super casual. Think of it like talking to a good friend, no pressure and no judgment. We start exactly where you are. Before your first session, I will send you a short pre-session questionnaire so I can get to know you a little bit and understand what you would like to focus on.
What type of therapy is this?
I practice CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which is focused on change. We will not waste time circling around the same things. We will jump right in and start working on what matters most to you.
What are sessions like?
Our sessions are interactive and collaborative. I will ask questions, share tools, and give you practical strategies you can use between sessions. This is a team effort.
How long will I be in therapy?
That depends on your goals and what we are working on. Everyone’s journey looks a little different. With CBT, many people notice positive changes fairly quickly, especially when they are committed to putting in the work. CBT is designed to be a short-term model that helps you accomplish goals and feel better as efficiently as possible.
